Soap ERA is an 100% Australian owned business based on Melbourne. We believe that soap can be fun by using only natural ingredients. In our soaps you will find only the finest essential oils, clays, herbs, spices, and botanicals to impart scent, colour, and texture.
We use all natural ingredients with finest oils and butters blended in a traditional old-fashioned cold process method in small quality controlled batches. Each is hand cut and allowed to cure for 4-6 weeks.
About our soaps
Our soap is made using the traditional cold process producing soap of superior quality that won’t harm your skin. Our Soaps are 100 % vegetable oil based, contain no parabens, no artificial colours, no artificial preservatives, no petrochemicals, and are 100% biodegradable.
Our cold process soaps, each of them are handcrafted in a traditional soap making method, with a carefully selected combination of skin loving oils and natural ingredients, keeping the soap making process in a proper temperature to retain all the goodness, and cured for a minimum of four weeks.
All of our handcrafted soaps are now officially certified as “Australian Made ” products.
What does Soap Era mean by “all natural soap”
To us, natural soap means a soap whose ingredients are plant based or something “Good to Eat” (Honey, Oat, Goat mill), We oppose the body care industry’s use of the word “natural” to include synthetic fragrances, colorants, and preservatives. We add no artificial substances to our soaps, such as synthetic fragrances, dyes, and preservatives, and where possible, we use only natural products. Our soap is scented with essential oils only and coloured with clay,herbs and plant extracts only. Our products contain no parabens. Read through our ingredient list to see what we mean by “natural soap.” Then, to really see what we mean, take a copy of our ingredients with you next time you go to the store and compare them to the ingredients of soaps on the shelves. Your skin will know the difference.
